The KUMA West Midlands Welcome Social brought together over 20 Korean doctors and medical students working across the West Midlands, including colleagues from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), Heartlands Hospital, Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), and New Cross Hospital, for an evening of networking and great Korean food at a local restaurant.
The event provided a relaxed opportunity to share experiences of working in different hospitals across the region, exchange advice on the Foundation Programme and specialty training, and build new friendships within the Korean medical community. The evening finished with a lively trip to a local karaoke venue, making it a memorable night filled with laughter, singing, and stronger connections. We look forward to bringing the West Midlands KUMA community together again soon!
