We kicked things off in Bourton-on-the-Water, meeting up at the car park before heading straight to a local restaurant for lunch. But this wasn’t just any lunch. Over our meal, we played games, put our KUMA knowledge to the test and most importantly uncovered some very questionable secrets. Let’s just say we now know things we can never un-know, including the year our KUMA President had his first kiss.
With our stomachs full and our secrets exposed, we headed off for a mini hike. The scenery may have been slightly less spectacular than originally promised (a small navigational mishap may have been involved), but the awesome company more than made up for it!
After working up an appetite, we wrapped up the day with a well-earned curry night at the pub because apparently one meal wasn’t enough.
Good food, bad directions, embarrassing revelations and even better company - a pretty perfect way to kick off the KUMA year!
