On 29th November 2025, the KUMA community came together to mark the organisation’s annual End-of-Year celebration. The event was hosted by KUMA and attended by members of the organisation, representatives of KUMAS (Korean-UK Medical Association – Students), as well as medical professionals from a range of backgrounds. The occasion served as a festive conclusion to a year defined by collaboration, dedication, and organisational growth.
2025년 11월 29일, KUMA는 한 해를 마무리하는 연말 행사를 개최하며 커뮤니티 구성원들이 함께 모이는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.
본 행사는 KUMA가 주최하였으며, KUMA 회원들을 비롯해 KUMAS (한-영 의대생 협회) 대표단과 다양한 배경을 가진 의료 전문가들이 참석하였습니다. 이번 자리는 협력과 헌신, 그리고 조직의 성장이 두드러졌던 한 해를 기념하는 의미 있는 마무리의 장이었습니다.
Throughout the evening, members reflected on the significant contributions and hard work of those whose commitment helped drive the organisation’s success over the past year. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal, setting the tone for a warm and memorable gathering.
저녁 이벤트 동안 참석자들은 지난 한 해를 돌아보며, 함께 만들어 온 시간과 노력을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다. 또한 맛있는 3코스 만찬을 함께하며 따뜻하고 편안한 분위기 속에서 교류를 이어갔고, 이번 행사는 모두에게 기억에 남는 연말 모임으로 마무리되었습니다
Beyond the dining experience, the event featured a series of team-building activities designed to foster unity and encourage connections among members. Attendees had the opportunity to socialise and exchange ideas with
medical professionals from various disciplines, highlighting KUMA’s ongoing commitment to interdisciplinary engagement.
식사 외에도, 행사에서는 구성원들이 서로 더 가까워지고 편안하게 어울릴 수 있도록 다양한 팀 빌딩 게임도 진행되었습니다. 참석자들은 자유로운 분위기 속에서 대화를 나누고 서로를 알아가는 시간을 가졌으며, 이를 통해 KUMA가 지향하는 열린 소통과 따뜻한 공동체 분위기가 잘 느껴졌습니다.
In keeping with the festive season, the celebration concluded with a Secret Santa gift exchange, offering a light-hearted and joyful end to the event. The evening reinforced KUMA’s values of community, professionalism, and shared purpose as the organisation looks ahead to the coming year.
또 저희가 연말 분위기에 맞게, 미리 준비해 온 시크릿 산타 선물 교환과 공개로 마무리되며 웃음과 즐거움이 더해졌습니다. 이번 저녁 모임은 공동체 의식과 전문성, 그리고 같은 목표를 향해 나아가는 KUMA의 가치를 다시 한 번 확인하는 시간이었으며, 다가올 한 해를 기대하게 하는 계기가 되었습니다.
While we first came together through our shared Korean identity, we have grown into a community that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As we continue to grow, challenges are inevitable. However, by working together, communicating openly, and supporting one another, we hope to become an even stronger and more cohesive organisation. Looking ahead, we move into 2026 with a shared commitment to collaboration, mutual understanding, and continued growth.
우리가 한국인이라는 정체성으로 함께 모였지만, 여러 다양한 배경을 가진 사람들이 모여 점점 성장해 가는 과정에서 여러 어려움이 있을 수 있어도 서로 합심하고 꾸준한 대화를 통해 조율해 나간다면 더욱 단단하고 성숙한 공동체로 나아갈 수 있으리라 생각합니다. 앞으로도 서로를 존중하며 배우고 협력하는 단체가 되기를 바라며, 2026년에는 한층 더 성장하기 위해 함께 노력해 나가길 기대합니다.
